Facebook does not always show your own ads to you. There are a few reasons for this.
- One is that you aren’t in the audience or location that the ad is being shown.
- The other is that Facebook may not show ads to admins of the pages they manage, as it would not be productive to show it to people who are running the ad.
However, at any point you can check the status of the ad via the preview link you’re sent on an email when the campaign goes live.
